2017 3051SF-Mysteries...
Hi All,
I am the proud owner of a new 3051SF. Love it. That said don't love unraveling the mysteries of where this or that is, getting it work, etc.
Thank goodness for all of you and the forums! My questions have been answered by hours of reading your insights posted here. What remains is what I have been unable to unlock...So here we go:
Mystery #1 Switch above the mirror adjustment switch...Is this a mirror heater switch?
Mystery #2 Switch at the base of the drivers seat with battery symbol on it...What is this for?
Mystery #3 I have tried everything I can read about or do short of pulling the 42" Vizio TV front the front overcab entertainment center to get it to run sound through the Jensen system.
Jensen is set on: HDMI ARC
TV is set on:
TV Speakers-Off
Digital Audio Out-PCM
Analog Audio Out-Fixed
Being a 2017 unit, I wonder if there is something else I need to do...Not even sure, as good as my dealer is, that they can tell me.
Thanks for any help.
Paul

Welcome to the 3051 owners club. Bought our 2014 couple months ago now and have spent rest of bad weather season reading all manuals etc. previous owners left them all which was nice. Setup on my entertainment is a little different but will have it home this weekend. Will see if my television sound setup is same and let you know.

Which way should that battery switch be set?

The battery switch on drivers seat is a momentary contact switch. It will be off when in it's normal position. When you hold it in it connects the chassis & house batts together through the large relay in the battery control center (the metal cover on the left of the entry stair). You must keep it depressed to keep the relay closed, you will hear the relay "clunk" when you press the switch.
Although I do not have the entertainment center this may help. I found that the HDMI cable from the Jensen receiver was connected to HDMI port #2 on my TV. The TV outputs the ARC signal on HDMI port #3. I swapped the HDMI at the TV to port 3 and all is working. The HDMI from the sat plate was connected to port #1.

I think if that is all the questions you have you are doing great, congrats on the new rig, we love ours. Haven't mastered the radio yet so no help.
I do think the knob that switches the mirror from left to right is missing, I know it was on ours too, they fixed it on punch list. Have fun.

Congrats on your new 3051SF. I hear you on the mysteries. We're still trying to figure out how to turn our outside speakers on.
Downloading FR Owner's manuals are not helpful for many of these mystery items.

Outside speakers are on speaker B of the Jensen. A is the 4 inside ceiling speakers and C is not connected.

We couldn't find anything in the Jensen digital menu that had anything to do with speaker selection.

My 2014 has speaker selector by the steps that covers the indoor ones coming from in dash stereo / DVD player. That switch does not tie the outdoor speakers to the in dash. Outdoor stereo and tv hooked to the outside speakers.

Must be different on my late 2017 3051.

There is an HDMI cord that runs from the Jensen In House System to the TV. There are three ports on the TV, sometimes the HDMI cord gets plugged into the wrong port. Just unplug from one port and move the HDMI cord one port to the right into the HDMI Arc port.

Joshua, how do we use our outdoor speakers?? We have a 2016 Jensen system with a switch that doesn't seem to do anything. What are the menu steps in this Jensen that activate the outdoor speakers?

On the in house entertainment center it is either B or C or the rocker switch isn't working for the outside speakers?

We don't have the entertainment system only the in dash Jensen with the large digital display. Couldn't find anything in the settings that indicated anything for the speakers. No B or C.

Then you only have the rocker switch by the door. That switch should be located on the cabinet by the entry door. After you switch that on you need to fade your speakers all the way to the upper right hand corner to use the outdoor speakers.
