2018 Forester 2291FS Artic Package

Can anyone tell me how to turn on or off the Artic Package
on my 2018 Forester 2291SF? The OneControl display doesnt
show anything for the Artic Package and there is nothing listed
in the owners manuals documents. Is it on all the time? The
threads I've been able to find here about it describe an on/off
switch. But I suspect thats prior to the "OneControl"?

Thanks,
Rich

Follow up info

I didnt realize the right side display of the OneControl
"Monitor" pane was scrollable. When the "Monitor" pane
is opened it displays "water heater electric", "water
heater gas" and "water pump" on the right side with
the option to turn them on or off. If you grab the whole
right side of the display and scroll down the "tank heater"
pane becomes visible. And thats where you control
turning it on or off.

And yet more Artic info

The Forester factory rep responded to my email
and confirmed only the gray & black tanks have
Artic pkg heaters!!! Their thinking is that the
fresh water tank, under the bed, is heated by
the coach heat.

That's is correct. Tank heaters are for black and grey tanks only.
There was a separate paper in my owners pack explaining their use. I believe, when switched on, they will actually heat when the outside temperature falls below 40 and off around 60 degrees f.
The propane furnace may have a dedicated duct for fresh tank and filter if you have one.

A note about One Control:
Don't despair if one day you're getting ready to leave a camp site and your slide and awning icons have disappeared.
Just turn off the engine/remove the key and they will magically return. Don't ask me how I know, especially since I knew better!

That's good to know as I wondered the same thing about the One control touchscreen. U have the same thing on my Georgetown gt5. What I worry about is if the slides are out and the touchscreen goes belly up is there a manual way to operate slides.

LOL !

Happened to me when we first got the RV and met some friends for lunch. They wanted to see it so I pulled in, put it in park, engine running to leave the dash AC on. As we showed them around they asked about the slide, and I said I'll show you how that works and sure enough, nothing on the One control screen for the slide ! Good safety feature !

I also learned that day (same situation) not to remove the key from the ignition and exit through the side door. We exited and I locked the side door, then used the key remote to lock the cab doors. We walked away and just as we were rounding the corner to enter the restaurant I looked back to see my head lights still on ! No beeping noise to indicate / remind you of headlights being on unless you exit the drivers door !

Always learning something !
