2018 Forester 3011 DS Liquid Springs Upgrade results
I promised I would update the forum once I had the Liquid Springs Suspension Upgrade completed. Here is a list of upgrades/modification I have completed:
1.) Koni FSD shoks(front end only - no need with Liquid Springs Suspension)
2.) Front end Alignment set to 6 Degrees Caster
Front, Rear and Steering Stabilizer bars
3.) Installed TST TPMS
4.) Liquid Springs rear Suspension upgrade.
The Results?
Amazing!
Wayne Wells and Chad Wilkins of Liquid Suspensions were super helpful and friendly. Chad took us on a test drive to show us how to operate the suspension ( it is literally set it and forget it) and I noticed the vast improvement on the first turn out of the parking lot.
Drove it home about 250 miles on all types of roads - sunny, wind at about 12-15 miles an hour. To give you some idea of the effect - Before that addition I would white knuckle it at 52-55 mph and after gaining confidence in my driving on the trip home I actually used cruise set to 68 mph and I am sure if I wasn't such a chicken driver 70 + is possible.
Trucks when passing felt like a mere puff with little or no effect.
If you are thinking about it take this as testimony that yes it is expensive however for the peace of mind and ability to travel so much quicker it is worth it!
