2018 SS tires

I'm getting ready to purchase a new 3010DS. It has Hankook tires. I also looked at a similar Jayco. It had Hankook tires. Anyone have any experience with Hankook?

That's interesting. Do you know what model Hankook it has?

No, I thought about that after I left the dealer.

All I know is that Hankook is no fly by night operation. I think I read that it is the 7th largest tire maker in the world. They obviously made a killer deal with some RV manufacturers

We have Hankook tires on our TS 2390 and they work very well. They have excellent traction in both dry and wet dry road conditions. I've also had them on other Ford products with no issues. I don't know yet if they will get the mileage of a Michelin but I'm happy so far....

I would like to know what model is on these RV's if anyone has that info. We are a Hankook dealer and have not been notified (or at least they left me out).

Hankook just built a plant in Clarksville,TN to push out another 5 million units a year. I'm curious to know if any of these tires are coming out of there.

On a side note, I just got off the phone with State Farm. One of their insureds took out the corner of our shop AND our Hankook lighted sign last Friday.

Interesting, two tire manufactures about the 60 miles apart. I wonder if Carlisle gets sold again.

We have the DynaPro HT RH12 195/75R16, with a Load Index of 105, on our TS. Ford is using the Hankook's as the OEM tire on the Transit 350HD.

Now can you find a load table for that tire? RVSEF didn't have one, and couldn't locate one, when we were weighed at the FROG Rally. The Load Index chart on Hankook's website only goes to 100... I'm currently running 70PSI all around based on their recommendations. That PSI "feels" right but I'd like to know based on a table rather than "feel".

Picked up my 2018 SS 3010 DS. It came with Hankook DynaPro HT LT225 75R16. I thought the ride home was very good.

The Michelin Ltx that was on are 2017
3170 were horrible switched to the defender
Ltx night day difference.

I have the Michelins on my Forester. Why did you think yours were horrible?

They were wearing very fast and cupping hard had the alignment done at 1500
Miles rechecked alignment at over 4000 miles was still In spec .
I had the ltx replaced with the defender
The sidewall on the ltx felt very unstable
With roll over feel . The defender was designed better for class c motorhome
Specs stronger sidewall . Michelin told me
The ltx is not a good fit on a motorhome
They are right my rig feels a lot more stable
With the defenders .
I think Michelin are great tires
Just did not like the LTX .

I was just curious and appreciate your reply. I had the same tire in a different size on a previous RV that cupped and wore quickly. Couldn't keep them balanced.
So far the ones on my Forester seem okay. I'll keep a close eye on them.

Michelin paid for %85 of replacement
Cost on the defenders . I had to pay for mount balance . It’s was many calls
Lost 4/10 tread in only 4000 miles with
All the cupping .
They were only going to cover %70 in Cost
Made 4-5 more calls just kept hounding
Them . Took all that BS and effort to get them to pay out %85 so after everything
It Was around $450.00
Well worth it does not feel like same rig
Very stable along with all my chassis
Upgrades about best it’s going to get .
I run 75 psi front 80 psi rear
My dealer told me that Michelin had a deal
With ford on the ltx so ford went cheap
He said ford might be going to the defender
Soon on the 450 cutaways
