2019 Sunseeker 3010 Seating Question

We just purchased a 2019 Sunseeker 3010 that did NOT come with the theater seating but with the standard trifold couch. The couch is SUPER uncomfortable and we are looking to change it out. With that being said, I have the part number to order (through our dealership) the OEM theater seating. Has anyone had enough time sitting in the theater seats to tell if they're comfortable or not? We are looking to either go with that or with a set of euro chairs. I like, however, the ability to still use the seatbelts if we go with the OEM theater seating. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have theater seats in my 2016 forester. I believe the new seats are a little different. Mine are very comfortable and I wouldn't be without them.

This is the double recliner that I put into my 2250 Sunseeker. It is from RecPro RV furniture and they are made to fit into the door of an RV. They have theater seating also. Very comfy.

Here is a link for mods to a 2250 that you might be able to get something from. It includes Euro recliners. We had to remove a dinette to do it so yours should be easier. It WILL fit on a slide also.

KenandCarol thank you for the picture. The hard time we're having is that the sofa is on the slide out part and the slide sits approx. 4" above the actual flooring and the sofa actually has a cutout to make it look flush to the floor. The "deck" that the sofa sits on is 33" deep so we are limited on what we can get for aftermarket sofas or theater seating. And our concern with the euro chairs is the fact that we actually will have to "step up" to sit in the chair. I will try to post some pictures

I replaced the jackknife sofa in our 2015 2801qs with Thomas Payne theatre seating that we picked up at an rv show. Ours is in the slide as well and the frame of the seats sit right at the edge of the lip on the slide, you don’t really notice the extra height.

I took the dinette out of my Sunseeker and replaced it with a double recliner. Several of us have done that. Check out post #4 to the link to the thread.

Our Sunseeker is a 2500TS,,, the slide out is raised,,, it has 2 drawers,,, and a outside compartment under it !!!
I am guessing the dinette set would be ok for folks that did not have back problems ???

Have a 2018 3010DS that we ordered with the dual recliners, instead of the sofa.

Would say the recliners are decent. Not my home swivel rocker with ottoman, but good. They seem quite solidly built.

Tombsy, do you mind my asking how deep is the floor that your Thomas Payne seating is sitting on? Basically the distance from the wall to the edge of the slide where your sofa sits? Ours is only like 32 1/4" deep and we can't find anything to fit outside of expensive OEM seating.

My slide is about 34” deep, the seat frame is about 1/2” back from the front edge of the slide to allow full recline.
My rig is stored I can’t really get under the seats but I think you might be able to have the front of the frame overhang a bit and still fasten them securely. I think worst case you could make some plywood or metal supports for the front of the frame.
