2020.5 Sunseeker MBS "Trekker" Cap Picture

I've attached a photo of the revised "Trekker" Entertainment Center in our "Q". The biggest change is the TV is now centered instead offset to the passenger side.

The Entertainment Center also has two nice sized storage compartments, one on both sides of the TV, and storage behind the TV. One of the side compartments holds the notebooks with all of our paper FR and M-B documentation.

I think this may be Trekker Serial Number 00001, on the 2019+ M-B chassis, as when we did our plant tour none had been installed yet.

That MBS Trekker cap interior layout is the same style as currently used on the Ford Trekker cap - centered TV, with cabinets on both sides. I believe the Transit series is also that way.

Dynamax had indicated earlier this year that they had no short caps yet available for the 2019 chassis ISATA 3. All new 3’s were available only with over the cab sleeping bunks. I’m glad Sunseeker is on top of things, offering the Trekker on their newest MBS series.

Whoa, whoa, whoa now... We have non-cabover now. In our defense, we couldn't just update the old short cap (it was molded by hand), we started from scratch and it's new from the ground up. That took a little more time.

Still late to the party...

Take off your Dynamax hat and put on your new hat. Why doesn't every division use the same basic design? Each division could do some unique trim. That would save design money and simplify the parts inventory.

That’s what makes Forest River great. Each division is independent, so you get different flavors. Not a bunch of clones of the same thing with different lipstick. (Unlike some others)
