24 ½' Sunseeker: Mattress with round corners

Does anyone know where to find a queen size mattress that has rounded corner I think they have a 10" radius and I would prefer memory foam. delivery in Florida. The one I got with my Sunseeker I have slept on since February 25th 2024 so it's not old but is sagging in the middle about 3". It was made by Solaris Sleep company of Ohio.

What model number is your Sunseeker and is the mattress on a slide out?

It's a 2350LE.
No Slide, basically a mattress in a box with an open end.
I Forgot it's 80" X 60".

Okay, that is the same basic floor plan as our unit without the slide out. The FR supplied mattress in ours is just a regular size (60X80 inch) Queen mattress. Any mattress store should be able to provide a mattress. I used a local mattress company, The Original Mattress Factory, to replace the regular queen mattress in our previous RV. They delivered the new mattress to the storage lot, installed it, and then hauled off the old mattress.

The only "gotcha" I know of is to watch the overall thickness so it doesn't interfere with your side window emergency exit function.

The only problem is that the corners are normally square and I need rounded corners with about a 10" radius.

The mattress in our Sunseeker is a standard rectangular mattress with rounded corners. The wood bed base is cut to a radius,at the right lower corner, but our mattress isn't, it just hangs over the base a couple inches on that corner.

Does the little bit extra of the corners take away too much room? Or do you just get used to it. Also does it fit in the corners near the windows and walls?

Why do you need a rounded corner? Just because the original was? I think any local mattress company could make what you want but that corner might be expensive. We have the same model (in Forrester trim) and I don’t think a square corner would hurt much of anything.

You probably need a custom mattress maker to make one with an exact fit.
You could also check with your rv dealer's service department to see what's available to order.

No, it fits well. The only issue is with having walls on three corners it can be a bear to put on the bottom sheet. But that would be the same with any mattress. We use deep pocket sheets to make it a bit easier.

OKay Great thanks for all the input. This weekend might be a good weekend Labor Day always seems to be the weekend holiday to buy a mattress.

I use a Kingsize flat sheet for the bottom and I have a very wide putty knife that I use to tuck in the sheet.

We have a truly oddball "Kinda-King." The factory mattress was wonderful for a year, then turned to mush. Be bought a custom made foam mattress. You can typically dictate:
~ Thickness
~ Dimensions
~ Mattress composition
~ Mattress cover

I think we paid about $500 for ours.

Several years we order a custom from these folks, rounded corners and very comfortable. We have enjoyed it.
Tip, don’t unbox until the box is on the platform.

Try RVMattress.com They can custom make a mattress to any size you want from a basic mattress to a nice Pillowtop. Not sure about the rounded corners. We just bought a new king size Pillowtop mattress for our 5th wheel. Should have done this many years ago.

If your mattress is similar to mine, just take it out of the zipper mattress cover and use an electric carving knife to radius the corners.
