2860ds slow awning and dropping slide

My second 2860ds 2017 has a very very slow awning extending or retracting, and on a seperate issue when extending the living room slide it drops quite a bit (about an inch or more) when about half way out, then comes back up and extends normally. has any body else had these issues? my first 2860ds a 2015 didnt have eighther of these problems.

The speed of the awning may just be different motors used or gearing as long as it extends and retracts I wouldn't worry about it. My slide does something similar and I assume it is the slide coming off the middle set of rollers so far I have not seen a problem.

My 2014 2860 slide did that then gear box broke. Had to remove full slide to get complete new slide arm and gear box . I'd schedule a service

My big slide on my 3010 DS drops about and inch on opening. It’s never been an issue. Works fine. I keep it lubed all the time.

2860ds slow awning and dropping slide

Guys, I have a similar setup as shown in the picture. Mine does not DROP down. Now, when retracting, the bottom of the slide/pivots up a bit on the last inch of travel. I assume this is setting the outside face flush to the side of the wall. We did have a drive pin shear in the drive but was repaired without removing the slide. I will give this more study.
Love to see more pics of the slide box opening. The posted picture has a lot of information.
