Not sure what you’re looking for when you say “what should I expect from this unit overall?”

“are there still any suspension issues?”......why, what have you heard?

What did the salesperson say when you asked them?

We had a 2017 that was totaled by a fallen tree, loved it so we bought a 2021. The ride is nicer with the Bilstein shocks and larger sway bar. The V8 is also better then the V10 for power, noise and heat. You will be happy with it.

That’s a broad question. I’d say you’re getting a class C motorhome built about the same way they’ve been built for the last, say, 25 years. It’s built on a class 4 truck and it will ride like one. The build quality the truck chassis will probably be good, but the house quality will be poor.

According to the brochure, the 2861DS can be built on a Ford or a Chevy chassis. Your chassis choice was not specified so it is difficult to offer any advice about the suspension.

I’d be happy to answer specific questions, but I’m not sure what it is you’re asking.
