2901 Furnace issue, 2005 Forester

Our Dominic furnace sometimes fails to light. The blower ones on but the furnace doesn’t fire up. Plenary of propane. Sometimes it lights, sometimes it doesn’t. I assume the igniter is misaligned or failing. Is there a way to get to the “guts” if I remove the outside furnace cover? Could it be sometime else? Thanks.
