3010 DS Optional Recliners

We are likely going to put a deposit on a 3010DS later this year. I noticed that recliners are now an option should one not want the sofa. Have any photos of the recliners been posted yet? The model at Hershey was equipped with a sofa only.

No backer in the floor for it. Others have put recliners in on their own, not sure how they tie them down. Not sure I want to know.

I ordered theatre seating just like the ones in the picture, fit great and used the seat belts to tie them down,, seems to work good. got the seats from Wayfair, came with no backs on so they fit right thru the door. What a differece from the jack knife sofa. nice to watch tv and be comfy. Best $560 I have spent

Can you give me the ordering information from Wayfair? I would love to order one for my 2014 3010DS.

Ok no backer, what thickness is the floor under the recliner on the new option?

Chucknviv, it's a leather 2-seat home theater recliner by Flash furniture. $557.60 was the charge with free shipping. Black or brown. They have a huge selection for you to pick from. This one was about 63-65 inches as I only have 67 inch space. Good luck

I love our 2300 but I wish we had those instead of our dinette. The thing we miss most is a comfortable chair to sit In. At home half the time we sit in a chair in front of the TV to eat dinner.

I'm thinking about it. We're not very good at do it yourself projects. I'll start by looking at what is under the dinette seats beside the drawers.

I eat every meal at home in my recliner. At the trailer, I use the dinning set. Wonder why that is...

Bclemens , can the recliners be retrofitted into the 3010 at the factory or by the dealer?

Bclemens, those recliners pictured are exactly what we need for our 2015 3010DS. Can we purchase them directly from the factory? Who would we contact? Any idea on price?

The issue is no backer in the floor for mounting. So while I do not give factory blessing to swap those out, I also can't stop you. (Others have swapped in lazy boys which certainly aren't designed for the application).

We buy those from Williamsburg Furniture...but I don't think they do any retail sales. Only to OEM's.
Part number is W50277 "Home Theater with Center Console/Grommet and DBS"

Price is not cheap because they have to be tested for seat belts, etc. No Lazy Boy has to meet a 5,000lbs pull test.

They are still really new...so most dealers don't know about them and with no backer in the floor I'm not sure parts would even ship them. They typically ask for a VIN...and that's where things will go south.

Color wise they go off the leathette names which is the same as most of your sofas.
Addison Chamois (light tan)
Addison Pumice (light gray)
Addison Lasso (brown)

Thanks for the reply bclemens. I don't understand the "no backer" issue is more required than what is already there for the couch? Is this something that could be installed at the factory?

"No backer" means there is not really any meat in the floor for the recliners to mount into. We put aluminum tubes where we need to, to mount the sofa. The mounting points for the sofa are different.

Its like your house. You want to hang something heavy on the wall, you need to find a stud. There isn't one where the recliners need to mount.

We could install them at the factory for a brand new order. But to retrofit something, you would need to replace the slide floor. (if you wanted to do it right). As I said, others here have swapped out Lazy Boys and just bolt through the floor.
