I asked because a friend of mine just flat towed his JKU (first time) to Colorado for a visit and back, and his front tires are now cupped. His local tire guy "thinks" it is because of it being towed with the aggressive tire thread (BFG M/T tires).

Possibly improper hitch set up ?
