3011DS battery size

Looking for info on the size of the storage compartment in the step well of the 2021 Forester Classic 3011DS. I’m guessing it’s the same in other floor plans. I have one on order and trying to order some batteries during Black Friday sale.

Why? It comes with two group 27 deep cycle flooded batteries.

Thanks. I know it comes with group 27 batteries but want to know the size of the compartment for other options.

You can shoehorn a pair of 31’s in but LiFePo’s will not fit maybe with the exception of Battleborns.

There are posts here where folks have built a vertical extension for the step to accommodate taller batts and posts on the private FB group where LiFePo’s were located in the adjacent compartment using a buss bar. That leaves the step available for a tool box or inverter etc...

I’ll do some searching for those posts. For me it was between the Battleborn and SOK but sounds like SOK may be out.
