3011DS - Quick Question on the Comfort Sofa Sleeper?

I have been batting around the idea of swapping the jackknife for the Comfort Sofa Sleeper in the 2014/2015 3011DS. Could someone let me know if you can get out the door when the bed is out?

Yes you can get out the door with no problem. Of course the slide must be out.

Only thing you cannot do is use the ladder for the cab over bunk. There is actually room for the ladder but the hooks won't line up. I am going to redesign the top hooks to make it work. It's not as simple as just moving them however.

One other note. The new sofa works great and CAN be made very comfortable buts it is NOT comfortable as it comes. We ended up using 2" thick rigid foam insulation board on the center part where the small cushions go. If you don't this part is much lower and you get a 2x4 in the rib cage. By cutting the foam board in two it can be stored under the seat. Then adding a 3" mattress topper made it very good.
