I have a 2017 3011ds and was at RV show last month and saw a FR class C with the swivel front seat option. Anyone ever purchase this option to install themselves? Looking for cost on this item and level of difficult. Will my current front seats work with added option?
The ones the factory uses are made by Atwood. They are a direct replacement for the standard pedestals. You may also want to add the seat booster cusions as the seat will be low to the raised floor when facing the rear of the coach.
What are the seat booster cushions? I have the swivel seats in my 3011DS and they are low to the ground when turned into the house. It’s like getting in and out of beach chairs without the sand! Tried throw pillows but not worth the bother.
Starting recently FR has made booster cushions that match the seats to raise the seating surface so that you can sit normally when you swivel the seat. They have to be ordered through a dealer. Mine should be in in the next week or so (so they tell me).
They are now included with the coach when you order the swivel base.

Shop4seats is a shop that sells a whole lot of seats and frames to make such a change. I've replaced my own seat with a power one. Check out their web site.
