3051 Forester - Dining Room Cushions dont fit as a bed

I cant find the thread that this discussion was on. So I hope it is ok to start another one. I posted the problem in the title so it is easy to search. My dining room cushions don't fit properly to make into a bed. So I bought a piece of foam, 18x18x4 and cut it in half. They fit perfectly. Here are the pics.

I did solve the problem, but IMO it shouldn't be a problem. I read that the rig should have come with extra cushions that fit in that area, but ours didn't have them. We are first owners of the rig too.
