3051s Slide out.

As a previous trailer owner and now a class C owner you would assume I had learned my lesson. Here goes nothing. Is there any service I should be performing on my slide out? My rig is a 2017 forester 3051s and I have done nothing to the slide in the last four years since I bought it. I had an issue when returning from a trip recently where high winds actually damaged my slide topper. that was repaired but my slide is making noise when it comes in or out. To me it just sounds like the rubber seals are making a thumping noise but wife is worried. I still have a service contract with the Stealer (spelled correctly) that we bought it from but its usually a major hassle to leave it with them for months at a time.

To answer your question, assuming it is a Schwintek in wall, yes.

Duck’s video link is good info. I’m surprised the slide is still working with no maintenance for four years. I use a PTFE based lube monthly, even on the rollers.
