We recently traded our Thor for a SS 3100 which has the dinette and sofa slide. No info in the packets on the slide. I suspect it may be a Lippert design as I am familiar with the Swinteck (sp) which we had on the Thor and this one does not appear to be the same.
We have had it out for a trip and it appears to be working ok but it does make peculiar noises making me a bit nervous at the moment. The demo guy at the dealer said to run the slide in until the motor and it's gearing make a ratcheting sound and then to release the "in" switch. Is this correct?
Any way to obtain or down load a instruction manual?
If the slide fails how does one manually crank it in?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as we are 900 miles away from home at the moment
