II am guessing the 2500TS is not an option ???
Whatever unit you decide on,,, you would be much happier with a Full Paint !!!

So, having learned that the Sunseeker is pretty much a Forester w/o the skirt paint, fiberglass running boards, and a few other small things we went down the road and put a deposit on a 2018 Sunseeker.

I’m having the dealer install Bigfoot levelers, otherwise is 95% spec for spec w/ the Forester I punted on.

At any rate I wanted to say hello to everybody here, and ask if there was anything Sunseeker related in particular I should be aware of? I will not be sad to see the Lippert tablet control panel go away in favor of buttons that’s for sure. The one I was going to buy had the generator hour reporting problem (and the dealer screwed up by not fixing it before I was supposed to take the unit home - among many other things).

Anybody have the Air Command Atwood AC/heat pump on theirs? I’ve read positive things (18k BTU equiv performance).

Thanks in advance and hello !

Count your blessings if you got the Atwood. We have a 2016 sunseeker and it came with Dometic heat pump. It was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. Just replaced it with the Atwood Heat Pump and cannot believe the difference. It is so quiet. I don’t know why they don’t put Atwood in all units. Happy Travels[emoji1]

Since you resurrected the OP, did you know the Dometic owns Atwood AC?

We like the full paint and glad we spent the extra $$$ for it. Although, the cost is prohibitive so if we weren't keeping it that long we never would have spent the money on it.

We’re picking the 2420 up on Wednesday!

It drove great - better then I was dreading. And as a bonus the chassis is also a 2018 built 1/18 and the coach was finished by FR 2/7/18. About as new as I could get !

Yes. Makes one wonder why they want one good product and one bad product owned by same company. Guess because we have to take the bad and then buy the good so they get paid twice.
