Added a Blu-Ray player

I added a BluRay player to the front TV of our 3011DS this weekend. I removed the TV from its mount discovering that it is hard wired to a 12V line. So, I spliced in a small(300W) inverter and plugged the DVD player into it. I drilled a 1 inch hole underneath the switch box to run the HDMI and power cable thru, then mounted the BluRay under the switch box using Duroloc. Works quite well and such a better picture!!!
Any issues with the inverter that anyone can share??

Thanks

Added a Sony BluRay player to front TV in our 3051s, and camped at a park that had great Wi-Fi and watched a couple of Amazon Prime movies.
Love it when a plan comes together. -)

Same here BluRAY up front and honestly I use the Netflix app more than the player
