I know there have been other posts on this but can't find what I'm looking for. I bought a Dish Tailgater Pro and need to add a jack on the outside to connect it to the converter box. What is a good way to ensure I don't drill into something structural in the walls like studs or braces. I have a 2016 3010 DS. Will a hardware store stud finder work or is this even something to be concerned with?
We just had to install one in my 5er after the factory cable failed but we were able to access the area enough to visualize what we was dealing with. Every RV is different.

I need to add two. The one on the drivers side near the back will be easy. It will be near the current jack. The one on the passenger side will be near the entry door and will come through the wall into a cabinet where the front tv connections are.
Do you have the internal trash can? Good place to start looking at the structure. I mean if my memory is right, the converter box for the whole Coach is in front of the compartment for the trash can.
Once you reach that box you should not have to add an additional connection to the rear tv.
I take it you’ll be using 2 separate receivers? Not sure why you need satellite connections in two separate spots on the outside when the existing should be good with adding a Dish Pro Hybrid Solo Hub or splitter.
