Adjustable bed mod.

I am waiting to pick up our new 2020 Sunseeker 3050s. My wife would like to put an adjustable bed frame in it. The frame weighs 135 pounds. I was wondering if anyone knew the weight limit on the 3050s bed. Thank you in advance for any advice I can get. It is our first motor home after 3 travel trailers. We are very excited to try it out!

1. Congrats on new toy.
2. What is an adjustable bed frame?
3. Hope you get your new toy soon, but it might be awhile these days.

Oh. I think I see now. You mean some kind of a railing for someone sleeping in the overhead bunk. I thought you were talking about the main bed.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. It is for the main bed. It is a power adjustable frame that can raise your sleeping position.

Adjustable bed

Check your bed/frame dimensions closely, as the current mattress butts up to the wardrobe when closed. If your frame is longer than the mattress, you may have clearance challenges.

Thank you ExFed. I hadn't thought of that. I will measure my clearance when I pick up the coach. Specs on the bed frame claim it is 59.5 x 79.5. I noticed you are from Wisconsin. Are you a Packer fan? Despite living in the former land of Brady, I have been a Packers fan for over 50 years. Go Pack Go!!

I did it on my 33 RLQS and it works just fine. Didn’t worry about weight, only about clearance, added height of mattress, and belowdecks infringement into the storage space.
It’s not the Space Shuttle, do it and enjoy.
