Air lift air bags

Does any one have these on your sunseeker? how much lift do they give without and with a trailer? When I pull my car trailer with my offroad jeep on it the roller on the bottom of the hitch will drag and dig in to the driveway with a slight dip.

My SunSeeker is 32 ft. long and I tow an open 16 ft. deck car trailer. WDH is set up with the trailer level and around 90 lbs. in my bags. Only time I drag is rather sharp steep driveways and down south where they use dips at intersections for water control. My trailer is a duck tail and on occasion, it will hit. Moved tag location and don't break the mount any more. Hope this helps.

Thanks A32Deuce I have been looking at the air bag kits and have decided to get a set What model bags did you get for yours? I see one model says you need 8 inches of clearance between tires and frame and the other model doesnt say but the picture looks like the bags are not as big around. Mine is 31.5 long

I did not get by size. I bought for the vehicle. Takes all the guess work out. Ran each air line to each hole in the bottom of my plate. Took longer to do the first then the second.

To protect the fittings to fill the bags, put one on each side in the wall of the bay on each side of the coach.

Do you have yours connected together so pressure is equal on both sides?

The air fittings that come with your kit will most likely have anti seize on the threads to protect from galling. This not a good air sealant so use Teflon or another sealant on the threads as well or you will have air leaks. Also, be certain that you get a perfect square cut on the tubing for proper connection to the fitting and for sealing.

Make up a soapy solution and spray all your connections. may have a couple that need a little tightening. Mine only loose when sitting. While in use, hold air pretty good. Sitting maybe 10 lbs in a month.

I have some spinal problems that keep from doing all the things I want to do,,,
I did get under the Sunseeker last year and try to follow the lines and the connections,,, and the bags !!! I could not follow them or even find them !!!
In a 3 to 4 hour drive I problem drop from 70 lbs to about 40 lbs !!!
I carry a small tire inflater,,, so I can bring psi back up where I want it !!!

The bags are on the frame over the top of the axle. Looking at the tire, the bag is behind it. When I do auto level, I can see mine just over the top of the tire.

I put the same bags on my pickup. Since I tow a car trailer, with the bags on the pickup, I run 35 lbs so both hitches are the same height. Saves a lot of cranking up and down. On the pu, they only loose a couple lbs in as many months.

The bags I orderd are superlift and come with a lifetime warr, Firestone Makes good air bags and they are used on semi trucks with very little problems I'm sure if there are air leaks it will be the fault of the pushloc fittings that the plastic airlines go into or the schrader valve. I put air bags in the coil springs on my dodge p/u and have not had any problems with them at all.

I would guess my leaks have something to do with insulation !!!
But I have no idea how many miles it could have been driving with the air bags empty,,,
If I remember correctly it had about 300 miles on the odometer ???

I don't know how far you could drive with them empty before damage is done.
