Another Battery Question

Any recommendation for a chassis battery for an E450. Seems like big price differences.

Good Morning Eh,
CCA’s is important for your latitude so since the OEM was 750 CCA I would use that as the bottom number. Motomaster has a maintenance free 850 CCA Group 65 for aboot $180. CAD. Also consider that the heavier the batt the more lead which normally means heavier plates which is a good thing.

I have never used a Motomaster due to unavailability but they have good reviews up North.

Thanks Duck, I'll look into it.

I’m still having no issues with the chassis battery in our Sunseeker motorhome, which is built on a 2017 Ford E450. (Can’t tell you what brand it is right now)

When the time comes, I’ll be buying my replacement battery at Canadian Tire as I have with all my vehicle batteries. Never had any problem with them, and if there was…..it’s nice to know Canadian Tire is nationwide if that accounts for a lot of your travels.

Thanks Ken. Same year chassis. I'm having an issue with the chassis battery holding a charge. Its in getting a new slide topper put on but I'll have to check the battery. Just hope that I don't have something that is draining it.
