Anyone use an extended stay valve?

I had one installed and the connection to an external tank works fine. I can shut off the built in tank, hook up an external tank, and power the stove, heater, etc off the external tank.

There is another connection that allows me to connect to a portable grill. This connection is giving me fits. I can't ignite my Coleman Roadtrip LXE using this connection. It works sporadically. I've disconnected and reconnected dozens of times and I can't get it to light. Anyone else have this installed and use it to power a high pressure grill appliance?

The extended stay valve I'm using is from Marshall Excelsior -

If your grill has a built in regulator then you need to connect to the high pressure side of the tank.

I use the grill connection to connect my extended stay tank to it. It has a custom made hose with the low pressure regulator and proper connection to the grill out on the rig. It essentially connects the extended stay in parallel with the on board tank. A propane service company set me up like this.

Yep, Iím definitely connected to the high-pressure side. The valve is located before the regulator
