Arctic Pac heaters don't work

I have a Sunseeker 2800QS and it appears the tank heaters do not work. Rocker switch light does not light up. We have never used them before so I don't know that they ever worked. Dealer said to check the fuse as it is the most likely cause. Problem is that none of the fuses are marked for the heaters. Is it possible that the fuse was never installed? Can someone tell me what location their fuse is in? I did try them when it was below 40 degrees as I know they have a built in thermostat and nothing.

Mine will go on regardless of temperature.

They switch on ours will light up when we turn it on no matter the temperature, but the pads themselves are supposed to only turn on when the temperature is below 40* (or so we were told )

The fuses can be confusing. I would go out and check ours, but it is in the shop for some repair work right now. I would just use a fuse tester and check all the fuses. Also, if you have extra 15 amp fuses and there are empty slots in the fuse panel, just put one in an empty slot and try the switch. I'd also check the control panel and see if the switch is wired up.

Just some suggestions...

Happy travels...

Do the tank heaters actually draw electrical current and heat up or does the light merely turn on?

If you have the Precision Circuits Battery Control Center (possibly mounted on the left side on the stairwell), then the Artic Pac fuse might be in there.

Check F9 fuse and J9 jumper. Click above link or here

My New Lacross advertised the artic heater right outside the entry door, but guess what,, it has none as such. The propane furnace duets run close so they say thats good enough.. but they show it in the online manual. So far my wife and I are not impressed with Prime time.found a wheel dust cap bent and drove on with a hammer as wheel was not turned quite long enough to let the dust cap fit..No cold water in shower, hose jammed in and kinked in wall. Water would not drain in shower when trailer was level...seat covers on sofa were torn by mechanics of sofa sharp edges.. took 4 months to get new ones right color. Its been a night mare for the dealers to fix the manufactures mistakes or poor quality control. Were going to the frog rally and hope to see prime time and express our concernes.

My light lights some time and not others. The service guys replaced the switch. It lit and on the 2nd try it did not however there is voltage present at the terminals in the rear of the panel. I was also told that the thermocouple is set for 28 degrees in the pac wiring outside??????

Well, that's about all you can do other than attach a thermometer to one of them and see what happens. This is beyond me now. My light comes on when I turn on the switch... but I have absolutely no idea whether the pads ever heat.
