Atwood water heater not working
New 2800QS on trail run. Every thing works but the Atwood water heater. Is there something more than chosing electronic or gas?

Have you made sure the bypass valves are in the correct position in case the RV was winterized. This is a common occurrence.

Do you know where the bypass valves are?
To answer your Q directly, No. Its just that simple when all the prerequisites are met.

There is an access panel on the bottom front of the kitchen cabinet or you can take the bottom drawer out under the cooktop.

Note: If you fired it up and have no water in it, you may have to reset the overtemp safety.

Its going to have to wait till I get home tomorrow. With the drawer out can't tell on/off on the valves, and the cover takes a hex head driver, which I don't have with me... : (

Its not a hex head. Standard square drive for 95% of the screws in the coach. You can use a #2 phillips but gently because there is not a lot of groove there. Also, when you put them back in I suggest finger starting and then only finger tight.

Ahhhhh Good news for sure. FWIW, your dealer should have done that on PDI.
