Awning light??? Forrester 3015 (2018)

Hello Group,
Its been a while since posting in here but I hope everyone is doing fine.

My question is, how do I turn off the small little light that is actually on the right hand side (when facing the door)
awning bar?

if you look you'll see a small vertical strip about 5" long and it has about 4 icons on it to control the awning if one would like

anyway, the bottom icon flashes on then off and I cant seem to turn it off, what am I not doing correctly?

Thanks, James

You have a problem, but it’s an easy fix. LCI has this response:

“Thank you for the requested information. It sounds like the wires for the canbus connection are wired to the power wires. You will need to cut the canbus wires, which go to pin 11 and 12. It's a wiring issue. Essentially, there are four wires hard wired together, which two of them should not be. These wires need to be found and the wires that go to pin 11 and 12 need to simply be cut to that connection.
I would suggest having a service center check for this and find the correct wires to cut."

Lots of other good info in this thread:

James, has your solera awning already had the "RECALL" upgrade completed through LCI?

All of them were working fine until the recall work was completed. That’s when the flashing light problem was born.

Oh! didnt know as I just picked up my coach and went out for a few days and the battle started with the flashing and btw, my LED lights on the awning also quit working.

James Jake, mine quit working too. They got power but wouldn't "light up". I ended up having to install a new set of led lights to finally get everything working.

All's well that ends well I guess. I have no blinking light, working led lights and the optional infrared sensor installed and working.
