Back end cap caulking

We have a 2017 2430S. While doing our “get ready for camping” inspection and to do list we added to clean and recaulk the horizontal seams between the bumper and corner cap and the top roof cap and the corner cap.
These seams were caulked by a RV service place in May 2020. The caulking seams have all failed. They used ProFlex RV. The photo is bottom right seam (bumper and corner cap).
Have to admit we don’t remember if there was a factory sealant in those seams or not. Another 2430S RV owner swears there should not have been a sealant there to begin with, that those two seams were designed to flex with the movement of the coach.
We are bamfoozled over our next step.
Clean and don’t recaulk? Clean and recaulk?

RV ownership is such fun!

This same seem area on our 2018 Sunseeker 2430S-CD is not the nicest bodywork on our rig either. The attached photos hopefully capture the exact same area as your photos. Granted, I just went out to take these photos while it’s still parked for winter, and the motorhome is nowhere near as clean as it will be come camping season.

Shopping

I see Judy likes to go shopping.

Ken, the horizontal seam is not caulked on the 2800. The vertical seam separates from the joint connector when heated. But you don’t have that waaaay up North
