Battery button on drivers seat

I have a new Forester 3171DS and just noticed a black switch on the left hand side of the drivers seat. It has a battery symbol on it. That's all. The seat is not power, it swivels. Does anyone know what this button is for?
Thanks. Click image for larger version

It is to use the house batteries as a boost to help start the engine when that battery is low.

You must not have gotten a very good walk through from the dealer if they didn't tell you what that button is for. Fortunately I have never had to use that button. You will likely have other questions, so don't hesitate to ask. Good luck with your 3171.

If you ever need to use it--press and hold while starting the engine. Coach batteries will connect to the chassis and provide power to start engine. As it will also work in reverse (providing power to the coach) there is really no need for that. Start the engine and it will provide power to start the generator, etc.

Pretty sure you t are to hold button. It's time delayed. Press it and it ingages the power for a minute or so then turns it self off. Relay is in door way going in camper on left.
