Battery Control Center wires bridged
It’s a cold winter day, and I’m bored.
I’m attaching 4 photos of the BCC found in the stairwell of our 2018 Sunseeker 2430S-CD…..the cover door, the schematic, the actual printed circuit board, and the two wires in question.
MY BIG QUESTION…….Does anyone really understand why the red and orange wires would’ve been removed from J11 and J12 respectively, and bridged together directly?
I’m not sure when the batteries should be getting charged, but so far, they get charged from the 100 watt solar panel, with the house switch in the ON or OFF position. The 2 house batteries and the 1 engine battery are alternating input from the solar panel, while the rig is parked outside.
There’s no access to test shore power or the generator at this time of year.
It’s winter, there’s no testing with the engine during storage at this time of year.
If I have to wait until spring to get power from other sources for further testing, so be it.
Thanks.
