Battery switch under driver's seat

We have a 2019 3011 DS with a 2018 E450 chassis.

Anyone know what the battery switch under the driver's seat does? I read all the owner's manuals without finding an answer.

That is to connect the house batterys to the chassis battery to get you started if the chassis bat is dead.

You can also use it to start the generator if the house batteries are dead. Works both ways. You have to hold it down.
