Bedroom ceiling light

One of the five inch round ceiling lights above the bed has gone out. It looks like the push on/off switch stopped working. How do you remove the cover of these lights?

A photo of the light might help.

Twist the lens to the left 1/8-1/4 turn. It's kinda hard to turn the first time.

Commandelectronics LED lights

I used a thin butter knife insterted around the lens, it popped off. By the way these lights are too dang bright in the bedroom and in the dinette and because they each have a built in power supply an external dimmer cannot be used. They are made by commandelectronics.com. Cheap, maybe they have a style with built in dimmer.

unscrew counter clock wise to remove the lens cover. It is most likely an led light fixture that has no bulb or led emitters that can be replaced. after you remove the lens cover there are 2 or 3 screws that hold it in place. Remove it and look on the back for MFG and model #. You will need to buy or if you still have a warranty to replace it. Talk to dealer or look on amazon for replacement.

Hope this helps Tim

They pop off. I had to replace 2. PITA. You have to fish the wires and just unscrew wire connector; reconnect new, finger tighten and all good. PITA IS IN GETTING A REPLACEMENT SENT TO YOU. FR is no longer using a specific distributor so he is about as cooperative as an encounter on a hiking trail with a rattlesnake while wearing shorts; sandals and a camera around your neck. I FINALLY got a replacement through FR. Nothing I could find on the internet was an exact match.
And I agree, BR reading lights are too bright.
