Bedroom Slide Out/Generator

I was running my Onan 4.0 generator with air conditioner running. It stalled out and would not start again. Seems like generator may have overheated.
I than tried to put my bedroom slideout back in and would not work without generator. Isn't bedroom slideout supposed to work also on 12 volt? My motorhome is parked in a spot where I do not have electric and I can not get my bedroom slideout in for travel.

my slide-out works with just the 12V or when plugged in or genset running. It does not work if the chassis engine is running.

Have you checked to see if your batteries are charged?

Thank you. I guess I will have to check my 12 volt fuse for slide out.
