Only way to make a difference in rear with shock would to remove air bags re install bump stop or run almost all air from bags just saying

Since you're discussing the Bilstein shocks now I'll chime in. I put the Bilstein HD's on front and rear of my 2015 3010. I'm the one driving just about all the time so I can tell you as the driver I feel a huge difference in the front end. With the stock shocks you would feel such a harsh ride especially over bridges. Not anymore. I've driven maybe 1000 miles with the new shocks and can say they are well worth it.
I've put the Henderson rear track bar, safe t plus steering stabilizer and the Bilstein shocks on and it is easy enough for my wife to drive now. (She still doesn't like to, but she will to give me a break)

A good shock in combination with the air bags will help with the ride as the air bags do more to assist the springs carry the weight and the shocks dampen the movement of the suspension up and down.

I have never had a problem with the ride only the handling and that is pretty good except in windy conditions I have had the alignment trac bar adding the steering stabalizer and if people are seeing a difference with shocks I will add front shocks if needed and if I stay below 70 mph wind is not a major concern and wife can drive now with no problem because I wouldn't ride with her over 60 mph on a empty interstate

Boso, doing it yourself? Shouldn't be hard to do. I guess the trick is to make it not pull.
You gonna make me wish I waited. Took our Forester to the dealer for warranty work and got a workout trying to keep her in the lane at 65-70, gusty winds. The MH was unloaded and I haven't checked the tire or air bag pressure since our trip 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to your review of the Roadmaster.

Sage, don't you have the bilstein stabilizer installed? And it's still hard to handle in the wind. What were your wind speeds ?

Ben, I was surprised today with the handling in the wind..We drove thru the Santa Susana pass and had some good gusts maybe 25-35mph. They were hitting me directly from the passenger side. I was keeping up with traffic going 65-70 and found it a challenge to stay in the lane. Of course when I slowed down to 55 mph it was much easier to stay in the lane. Yes, I installed the Bilstein stabilizer and it does make a difference in handling. You have to realize we have a big sail.
