Black tank questions

I have a 2018 2291s. I was able to get a camera into my black tank and saw some stuff I didn't recognize. Anyone know what the following items are?

- There are 2 tubes that are sticking into the tank from the top. These are not tank level sensors, as I have 4 of those elsewhere in the tank.

- There's a round fixture attached to the top of the tank in the front driver-side corner. Maybe this is for the vent?

- There's a round object attached to the sidewall on the passenger-side of the tank. Sprayer?

Thanks

I could say those are *****t• picturesÖÖ.but I wonít.

I canít explain those tubes from the topÖ..but great photos of a place few have ventured to look.

Iíll go along with you that the round fixture on the top is your vent, but Iím no expert.

The round fixture certainly could be your sprayer, if you have one.

I do see at least two of your level sensors in white from the sidewall.

Might the one in your top photo be for the bathroom sink drain?

Thanks but I doubt it, everything other than the toilet should be draining into the gray tank. The sink is also not over the black tank.

Don't make that assumption. Our bathroom sink drains into the black water tank.

I'm going to guess those are either extensions for the level probes or those are mold pins that keep the tank from shifting in its mold. DR

Same thing with our bathroom sink in our Sunseeker 2430S. Everyone should do a quick test with their rigs to know what drains where.

Since no one else is asking,

Is there a reason for taking a picture of the inside of the black tank? It is just not something most of us wake up in the morning and decide to do.

Was replacing a broken closet flange so I had access, everything was dry and almost no odor. My sprayer stopped working 2 years ago and my level sensors no longer register, so I was trying to get a sense of what could be done. I wiped down the few sensors I could reach, haven't tested to see if that fixed anything. Assuming that round thing in the sidewall is the sprayer I have no idea how to get to that.

One thing I learned is that there's no solid connection between the sewer drain pipe (the one connected to the closet flange) and the black tank. Instead there's a hole in the top of the tank with a rubber 'donut gasket' that the pipe slides into. I cleaned both pipe and gasket as best I could (I didn't remove the gasket as I fear the pandora's box that would open), then applied some marine grease to the inside of the gasket and slid in the pipe. Does that sound like the right way to do it?

love everyone's comments. making me laugh.

You currently identified the vent. The sprayer outlet is the black tank flush.

the tubes coming into the tank actually slumped all of us. They come from the vendor that way. We are asking the vendor, but think it is something to do with the manufacturing of the tanks.
