Black water flush plugged

I have a 2013 3170DS The Blackwater Flush is plugged up.
I hook up the hose and nothing

Any suggestions would be appreciated

PS recently had an accident (some one reared ended me)and it took three months to get the right parts from forest river

Many reports here of the back flow/anti-siphon valve (usually under the bath vanity) being plumbed backwards.

I'd check that first.

Not un-ususal, best to simply replace the valve!

5picker has a good suggestion " back flow/anti-siphon valve " do cause some problems at times.
For that reason I by-passed the back flow/anti-siphon valve in my 5th wheel and use a check valve at the hose connection where it connects to the flush port.

However, if the flush system was working prior the accident would it be possible that the flush system hose leading to the tank got 'kinked' ?

Also... I have replaced two other flexible hoses in my rig because they were restricting flow due to kinks....and most flush system kits come with clear vinyl hose that is prone to kinking.

- Just a thought -

Friends of ours used to have the same problem regularly...their daughters didn't get the whole "don't flush anything but toilet paper" thing. Whenever their black drain got plugged up, they'd lay out the sewer line and fill it with water. Open up the valve and pick up the hose filled with water to "backflush" the valve. Then drop the line back to the ground...hopefully that opens it up. Sometimes it took a couple of times, but it always worked.

When my previously working black tank flush was plugged, I filled the hose with CLR and hooked it to the water without the pressure regulator and turned the water on. It took a few seconds but the, clog was cleared and it has worked ever since.

My guess is it's the check valve or as in my case the sprayer. The sprayer screws into the side of the tank. I am very pleased with the Tito spray I got at Campingworld. It does a much better job than the factory one. Good luck if you need to find the check valve, there usually located about three feet above the floor in a wall or cabinet. I found ours behind the plumbing access plate in the shower.
