Can I pick your Brains? Kitchen Cabinet
My Forester 2701ds has a large cabinet mounted on the wall and is in a awkward location because of the sink counter. You have to be 6'6" to be able to reach anything and have to lean over the counter too! The DW has to use a stool and still can only reach the bottom shelf. I thought about removing the middle shelf and put in sliding pantry, but I think that shelf is structural. Any suggestions?

Hi SageCoach. Yes, I see that is hard to get to. When you say sliding pantry, I think the pull out wire drawers with plastic shoebox size containers in them and use for light stuff only. As weight moves out past the face of the cabinet, the force it applies to the screws in the face screwed into the aluminum studs above is multiplied and we don't want to see the whole thing come tumbling down. Once she pulls the drawer out, she can grab the plastic box and put it down on the counter where she can get what she needs.

I was thinking something like this and maybe cut in half and make back to back.
Opening in 18"Lx18"Hx15"D. This is usable space allowing for door hinges and magnetic lock. Holds 100lbs.

Wonder, mount the doors 2 slides and have 2 pull outs or open the doors and pull 2 or 3 sliders out. Making them 5" each will just fit for 18" opening. Can add rails in back for more strength.

You need to re-read Gidyupgo's post.
His point is VERY valid. Pulling out that heavy loaded rolling shelf will put an amazing amount of strain on the cabinet mounting screws due to the center of gravity of the loaded drawer being moved that far away from the cabinet mounting support.
Like a pry bar, it could pull the screws right out of the aluminum studs.

Herk, I did't miss that point. My plan was to bolt a metal angle irons to the wall, ceiling and side cabinets. If I make 3 racks, I will tell the DW to only pull one out at a time. They would be that heavy each. I bet we don't have 10 lbs in there now.

Hate to see you mess up that pretty coach. 
If you think the pull out panels are the way to go, maybe additional screws through a steel cleat into the existing structure before you modify for the pull out panels.

Kitchen cabinet
I bought a triple wire shelf to use in the lower shelf to keep the dishes, etc.
Separate, much easier to reach in and get them

Out camping now and it's a pita to grab anything up there. I see a piece of wood lagged into ceiling with 3 bolts and cabinet rail is screwed into that. This cabinet isn'tgoing anywhere. I see no issue as long as I don't overload it.

My wife has to use a folding stool to reach the top of our cabinets & the Fantastic Fan !!!
She also has a folding she uses here @ home !!! Or holler @ me to get stuff for her !!!

Went to work on the project yesterday. Mada a temporary box approximately the size I want to use and placed wood blocks in to simulate where the glides will go and their thickness. Then loaded it up with some of the stuff I would be putting in it. The chips and cereal hit the shelf, so I removed it. Found there was too much loss of storage. The DW said lets see what Bed Bath and Beyond has that may work. Ended up buying 2 clear plastic fridge bins. The Then cut back the shelf 1 1/2" and remounted it. Found this will work as we both can easily pull out the bins. Still need to use a step stool to reach the shelf. Didn't loose any real space cutting it down.
