We purchased a 2014 Forester and chose the Chevrolet 4500. This RV also comes with the Ford chassis. I really don't know if there is any difference but hope we chose the best one.
Looking for some input on this. John

They are both good units and I don't think you can go wrong with either. The Ford V10 is turbine smooth and is a little stronger on the hills that the Chevy. The Ford has been made forever and there are a bunch of them out there so parts or maint may be easier to obtain. The Chevy cab especially on the passenger side is roomier. The Chevy front end design is newer and more forgiving when it comes to alignment. It is more a matter of personal preference. Hopefully you have sat in each or better yet driven each.
There is a thread over on the Sunseeker forum about this subject but be careful as some of the posts are talking about pickup trucks not motorhomes.
We love our 2012 Sunseeker 2300 on the Chevy 4500 chassis. Not to say there is anything wrong with the Ford, but you will be very happy with the Chevy.

Still have my old Class C on a Chevy workhorse frame and have a new Forester on a 450 Ford E-series chassis. I think its a matter of preference because both RV's run extremely well!
