CO2 Detector problem

The Co2 Detector has been going off...red green red green. One of the reasons it went back to the dealer a few weeks ago. They said there was a small propane leak, fixed it. It started again last night, had all the windows open, kids were staying in the motorhome in my driveway. The fridge was on, propane. Any thoughts?

Is it the CO or propane alarm? Mine is two different units.. CO is a smoke detector thing the propane alarm looks like a box on the floor. My co detector will chirp when its battery is low. The propane alarm, wired into the 12v system, will go off when the battery gets low on the trailer.

As far as the lights, you'll need to read the manual for the CO detector (if that is what it is) since they can all be different. I'd buy a new detector and put that in the RV and see if the thing goes off again. It could be just a bad unit.

If this is a Safe T Alert Propane /CO detector . per manual
MALFUNCTION ALARMThe microprocessor will activate the malfunction alarm
when it detects a fault in the detector's operation. The LED
will alternately flash Red and Green, and the sounder will

beep twice every 15 seconds. The Mute switch will not function.
REMOVE THE DETECTOR IMMEDIATELY AND
RETURN IT FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
Do not use your RV without a working gas detector installed.

Having same problem again with CO alarm red/green indicating low battery voltage. Alarms at 11.6 VDC and is ok at 11.8 VDC and above. This is a model 35-742 detector. Manufacturer, MTI industries, sent replacement unit under warranty October, 2015 for same issues. I've had full charge on batteries and assumed replacement worked. Over winter, batteries discharged to 11.6 VDC and now having alarms again. Per 35-742 manual the detector should work down to 7 VDC. I'm contacting MTI again. Guess I'll have to find a variable DC power supply somewhere to confirm operation and not have to deal with false alarms.

Ours does the same thing as yours. When batteries go below 11.6 volts the co2 detector starts beeping. Curious what the response will be from MTI.
