Compartment Door Seal

I've been searching for a while for new compartment door seals for my 2017 Forest River Forester 3011 motorhome. They're a bit squished down after 4+ years and I'm getting some water inside the compartments.

FR will send me the part number, but that means a trip to the dealer who will attempt to order the part 37 times & I'll give up.

I checked with the usual suspects Steele Rubber, RV Parts Nation, SlideOutSeals.com, but they don't have the same profile.

The dimensions are approximately 1/2" x 5/8" and it's a self adhesive seal.

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for this?

I'm not sure if this is Forester-specific, so I'll post this in both forums.

Thanks!

@bezzola

The closest dealer is a General RV which is usually quite unpleasant. Well, if I can't find it online, I guess I'll go there.

That just looks like "D" seal that's been flattened over time. measure the width that's glued to the frame and you should be able to find it in lots of places.

I don't have the same rig, but this did the trick for me. Used on the front compartment doors on a 2016 TH.

I bet if you look you have a sticker on the inside of the door stating the manufacture and number. My Sunseeker doors are manufactured by Challenger. I needed a lock, could not find a replacement, called with door number and ordered what I needed.

It's getting more interesting since EVERYONE is out of stock due to the Texas Freezeover a few months ago.

I contacted Challenger doors to see if they have a roll to sell.

I may just end up using something that's close enough like Bama Rambler suggested.
