Convenience panel battery levels up and down?

New 3011DSF, was plugged in at the beach for a week and then driven approx 150 miles to home. Used the battery panel to check charge and it showed full charge (as expected). Unloaded and turned everything off and then used the battery disconnect (by the front door).

Next morning batteries showed 2/3 charge. Hmmm not sure why the useage. Checked them again this morning (after two days of hot, over 90 degree, weather) and they now show fully charged...???

Any ideas???
Have had the MH for about a month and this has happened often. Even had the indicator show batteries basically dead, yet frig stayed cold (and freezer okay) and all lights worked. Plugged it in for about 20 min and batteries showed full charge. Dealer will look at it next week but just wondering if anyone has any ideas what's going on???

Voltage-based battery condition (State of Charge) "Meters" are notoriously inaccurate. This is because voltage fluctuates due to battery temperature, amount of current being drawn, and other factors.

The only reasonably accurate gauge is an amp-hour counter, such as the TriMetric.
