Converter wiring

So I put some lithium batteries in the rear storage compartment. I took some heavy battery cables from the house side of the disconnect switch and ran them back to the new batteries. Removed the old ones. In the compartment under the stairs I can see the 60 amp breaker for the converter, but I am not sure how to hook that up to the new battery location.

Assuming the 60 amp breaker is connected to the batteries on one end and the disconnect switch, I'd just upgrade the remaining wires and leave the 60 amp breaker in it's place. The wire size from batteries to converter should be the same size so you have minimal voltage drop.

If I am envisioning your installation correctly just make sure that power flowing from converter to the batteries travels in the heavier wires you installed and through the the 60 amp circuit breaker. You've handled battery side of the disconnect switch and now the converter side needs to be dealt with.

I don't see any need to relocate the breaker, just follow the old wires from converter to disconnect switch.
