Countertop extension

I have a 2021 Sunseeker class c. How do I get the countertop extension to stay up. Thanks

Look underneath. If it’s like a lot of others, it probably has two hinged arms to move it between the two positions. You should see some form of locking position that you must release to put it back down.

On our 2250, simply lift until both click, latching the brackets into place. Putting it down was the initial challenge - lift a bit, and press on the ends of the brackets under the top to unlatch, then return the top to its stored location.

Two springs underneath. Left spring is in the up position, right spring is in the down position so you can see the difference. The springs are strong, watch your fingers. Click image for larger version

See the little bumps at the far/outer end of the horizontal braces? When the top is up and latched, press on these as if you are squeezing them into the top and lift the top slightly. They will unlatch, then lower the top.

I like the design, once we figured out how to operate them.
