Couple of Electrical questions

First, what is the direct LED replacement for our 12V 921 bulbs? I've read on the message board something about the LED replacements only being good to 12V but our units actually put out slightly more voltage so they can blow the replacements if you don't get a stronger bulb. Can anyone clarify which bulb I can buy to just plug in and forget?

On our unit there are the recliners where many folks have the couch. Unfortunately, there is no 120V receptacle over in that area, I'd like to add one in that area either above under the wall cabinets or on one of the slide-out walls. Has anyone done this? If so, can you tell me where you cut the hole for the self-contained receptacle, where you got the 120V power from, etc.?

I'd really like to put in a self-contained receptacle that has a built in USB charger but have not found one online anywhere. Has anyone come across that or one that has a micro-USB port?

Most LED 921s are shown as capable of 12-24 volts so I doubt you’ll have a problem.

As far as adding a 120 outlet, is there any existing outlet in the slideout? My Forester has a 120 outlet on the aft dinette seat so if your Sunseeker is similar it won’t be hard to extend it to another outlet at the couch.

You need to be sure to check how the 921 bulbs are mounted. In some fixtures the light used is from the end of the bulb opposite the base. In other fixtures the bulb is oriented such that light is used from the side of the bulb. Then be sure the LED replacement transmits the light the same way. Many LED modules only emit light in one direction.

Rv manufacturers do not consider that we actually cook in our Rv's. I have owned 5 motorhomes and not one has had outlets in the places where we use them. The kitchen is the biggest lack of outlets. I use a power strip to solve my problems.

I never cook in mine its a 2013 and i only boiled water 3 times for Raman. I use the microwave and have grills and BBQ outside. I just don't like how the smells get into everything. But that's just me.

Oh and the over hasn't been turn on yet who knows if it still works.

so for electrical plugs near the stove it doesn't bother me too much

I have the bulbs found at the link below. They are brighter and whiter than the stock bulbs. They also handle 12v to 24v. Be careful installing them, the paddle shape makes it easy to bend them as you push it in the socket and that will cause them to fail. Ask me how I know.
