Crack In Roof

We have 2017 Class C Ford Transit Forester. I had the dealer install a vent cover on the bathroom vent. When I looked at the roof recently, noticed a crack running from one of the vent cover screws about 10 " long.

Does this need to be fixed? Is there anything I could do? I really hate to take it back to the dealer.

Yes that should be fixed. This is ,ore that likely a dealer created issue.

Just some ammo for you with the dealer, "How many miles since you had the work done?"

Yes, it does need to be repaired, ASAP. If not repaired, it could leak, get bigger, and leak more. Since it starts at the point where the new vent cover was installed, at a screw hole, it would appear the person who did the work probably overtigned the screw, causing the crack.
Take the rig back to them for repair. Simple to do, if you know what is needed.
Have repaired several on our Lexington over the years, and have held up great.
Could probably fix that crack in 15 minutes and repair would last as long as the rig will.

I was afraid of that. I have had issues with their poor work.
