Dash help!

Has anyone ever replaced this dash plastic wood looking piece? There is a piece missing out of the top right corner where it cracker. Figure we have to replace the whole thing. Just can’t seem to find one. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Which chassis is your motor home built on? What is the chassis model year — not the RV model year.

Check out Tombsy’s thread on 2801 mods. He has fancy’d up his dash a number of times. Or you may be able to find a pre-owned replacement at a bone yard. FR had it off to install the radio and a plug or two anyway.

I wouldn’t say I’m awesome, but you’re welcome. I thought that place was what you were looking for.

Call the division of Forest River that made your motor home and provide them with the VIN of the coach. They will know right away what that color is.

They make aftermarket dash kits to replace all the brown parts. Carbon fibre looking is the most popular but there are other options.

I haven’t put one in myself but had the dash apart many times.

Just a footnote. These dash pieces are not easy to get out and I gotta think there is a YouTube video out there somewhere that provides some important tips to make it easier. I struggled the first time I had to take it out now I have it down pat!
