When towing anything quick moves are best avoided. It's best to drive in a manner where those moves aren't necessary.
As for long, multiple tows, out here in the West you'll see UPS and FEDEX trucks with 3 trailers on a regular basis. They "wiggle" less than some travel trailers, mostly because their drivers don't make quick moves.
Out in the east where i drove doubles for UPS the lighter trailer should always be placed in the rear position but with triples the light one goes in the middle to help control the sway. Just had to share that little bit of info but I never pulled triples.

The original question was if it was a triple vehicle. I think that they mean triple trailer. To clarify, the tow vehicle can tow 2 trailers in all states but not 3 trailers in all states. So even if it is counted as 2 trailers it would be allowed. Many of the replies seem to be questioning how good it is or how the tires are rated.
Two trailers may need a different driver license in some states.
Finally that is not a trailer since it is attached without a pivot.
Thank You All - I really appreciate the input and suggestions. I am grateful for having such a forum, with awesome participation, people willing to read and offer suggestions
The unit is rigid mounted into a class III receiver.
Additionally, in a previous photo it appears that the tires are smooth; that is the fenders. The tires are with tread, and are actually boat trailer tires rated at 1,000 pounds each.
We did purchase the unit and drove home yesterday. It was 2 hours driving at 65 - 70 mph, and the hubs and tires were cool to the touch at the end of the journey.
Again, I extend my sincere appreciation to you all for taking the time to offer suggestions; thank you.
Thank you for your clarification. The top pic tells it all. When you asked about a trailer I assumed that this was on a ball hitch.
One would think that if that is legal to drive as it is then one would think it would be legal to tow.
Always best to check with states you will pass through, which could be a real pain, but better than making the DW drive behind you in that state. Specially if it is
This is a letter from the manufacturer of the wheelchair carrier :
Dear Brian,
A quick note to alert you to my receipt of your request for information regarding the Bruno Chariot ASL-700 wheelchair lift – carrier. In Massachusetts, there is no requirement to register the carrier as it is considered to be part of the vehicle it is attached to. The connection is rigid mounted and therefore part of the vehicle. It is strongly suggested that the rear license plate from the vehicle be relocated to the mounting location on the ASL-700 Chariot.
Please call me if you have any further questions or you need anything. My number. (708) 572-7551.
Thank you for choosing MobilityWorks!

I would suggest that you add extra tire pressure sensors to add the mobility trailer to your tire pressure monitoring system. If you don’t already have one I suggest making a TPMS your next purchase.
I would also suggest a travelscoot mobility scooter. Add dot com to the end to go to there website. I have it as well as a larger scooter.
I wouldn't call it a trailer either. Like others have said it doesn't pivot like one. It is more like a bike rack that happens to have swivel wheels to support the weight so it doesn't whip up and down.
Good luck

We have a 3011DS, and we typically flat tow a Jeep Liberty.
We would like to add a wheelchair lift to the Liberty that has 2 swivel casters to support the 200 pound weight of the power wheelchair.
The lift is inserted into the class III trailer hitch of the Liberty. The wheelchair lift is a rigid mount, with swivel casters to take the weight off of the Liberty.
Is this a triple vehicle?
We are hoping to continue traveling, and the power wheelchair is too heavy to transport without the vehicle lift.
Thank You; Brian French
Is this type wheel chair required for you? I ask because my dad uses the same style power chair at home, but we use a different mobility wheel chair called Air Hawk while traveling which is much lighter. It weighs less than 50 lbs and will fit in the trunk of most cars. Example my Toyota Pries V and my friends Avalon. It also moves well over turf and most other terrain. We have portable folding ramps we use for entry into our fifth wheel. They have become useful for many other locations .
Thank You.
The wheelchair carrier as well as the wheelchair are equipment we already own and we are used to using these. From a comfort and safety standpoint we prefer the wheelchair.
Thank You for your suggestions, I really appreciate the help.
