dinette question

I have a 3100SS and am still trying to figure out the purpose of lowering the dinette table.

There seem to be no cushions to put on the table when lowered.

I am sure there is a real simple answer................I just don't know it!

How about using the seat back cushions?

Push the dinette bottom seat cushions together and then drop the back cushions flat
