We recently bought a Sunseeker 2860 DS and did not have time for the complete introduction to the RV at the dealership. On our trip home, we used the black/gray discharge connection inside the storage area and later noticed there is another connection under the chassis. Is there a benefit or preference as to which one to use?

I have the same.
The drain outside of the compartment is only for the shower, and probably the outside kitchen sink.
